In the beginning...

The Meadettes photoI was bitten by the entertainment bug early in my life. My Grandmother and Father who appeared in MGM movie productions as the "The Meadettes", sang WWII musical numbers such as "White Cliffs of Dover" and "Shortnin' Bread". I was captivated by the excitement of Show Biz and the positive effect it has on peoples lives.Theatre photo

I found myself doing Musical Comedy Theatre productions in my Jr High and High School years while living in Hawaii. Not wanting to compete with Bette, I left the islands and went to college at the University of Denver as a theatre major. While in Colorado, I was involved in Summer Stock Dinner Theatre productions where I performed in a variety of Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals and more.

The turning point in my career came when I got a call from my Stepmother Karryn that a popular top 40 band leader was looking for a new girl singer. Because of her encouragement I was able to join this well established band and begin my live band singing career. After a year with the band I decided I was ready for the lights of Las Vegas. So with a full tank of gas, I headed for the Entertainment Capital of the World.
